We spent about 5 hours fishing with Jacob. He was knowledgeable and helped everyone in our hut learn how to catch fish through the ice. We had a great day and caught plenty of fish. Jacob cooked them for us and they were delicious.

The cabins are Cody, wood burning stove and the fish was biting when I was there. Expert guides to show you the ropes. One suggestion, wearing rubber winter boots or bring a mat or heavy towel to put under your shoes.

The event was supposed to last 7 hours, which included travel and knocked it down to 5 hours but the guide took our poles away after four hours so we spent the last hour just sitting there. Also, the cabin was nice but we were packed in there. Twelve people to a cabin plus the guides. The guide also kept trying to up sell us on other tours and had a bit of an attitude.
