My husband and I took the Urban Adventures Italian Market Immersion and it was Awesome. Chuck is a retired professor, local to the neighborhood, so he had so much to share about the location, as well as the history of Philadelphia. We learned so much in such a short time. First we walked around the neighborhood where he showed us spectacular murals by Isaiah Zagar, made from handmade tiles, and broken pieces or glass, mirrors and random objects. We had seen the murals as we walked the streets before, but were able to appreciate the art and details after Chuck's explanation much much better. The Italian Market experience was great too. He took us to all the good places, had samples of cheese, pastries, nuts, balsamic vinegar, and others. All the vendors were very friendly and accommodating. What I enjoyed from the trip was that we never felt rushed. It was a very relaxed and friendly stroll with a wonderful host. Would highly recommend it!
