We booked our tour using airline points. We received formal confirmations in our email. We arrived the day of our event right on time. We see a zoo of people waiting outside. We go inside to check in. Hand over our paperwork and are told our tour was cancelled. I turn around and ask who all the people waiting are, and they say its the tour but yours is cancelled. I ask were there ever two tours. "no only this one, but yours was cancelled" you can image the look on my new brides face!?!? We gave them every opportunity to make it right. Put us on a boat tomorrow? NO. Put us on a competitors boat? No.. Talk to the manager? NO. Make room on this boat? NO. They simply took the money and ran. They did not care. I am SURE they cancelled our reservation on the boat that was just leaving because we paid with points and they had someone else that was willing to pay with $$$$$. The true mark of a GREEDY company that has no concept of customer service. Join me in boycotting this organization. I have submitted many reviews on Trip advisor and they are almost all 4 or 5 stars. I do not fabricate stories or write unjust reviews. This company is truly missing the boat!

This was such a fun afternoon of whales, cruising, drinks, and snacks. We saw multiples whales including one that breached twice. Captain Kauai was fun and informative, and the rest of the crew was fabulous as well. The afternoon included snacks of wraps, fruit, crackers, cheese, and meat.... as well as soda, juice, beer, and mai tais. Definitely a must!

The tour provider, Kauai Sea Tours, called to inform us that our 2 hour whale watching cruise had been cancelled. They asked if we wanted to cancel or upgrade for free to the 4 1/2 hour Napali coast sunset dinner tour. We upgraded. We had done this same sunset dinner tour with another company in the past but that tour didn't hold a candle to this cruise with Kauai sea tours. The crew was amazing. Their attention to detail was first rate. They didn't miss a thing. The food was excellent, and all kinds of drinks were offered often throughout. And captain Kauai that's his name was off the charts engaging, funny, informative, attentive etc. Now, if you want a cruise that just plays music this probably isn't for you. The captain tells stories, gives history, cracks occasional jokes, gives all kinds of info about the sea life and islands. He probably talks during 75 of the trip, but it was delightful and fun. He and the crew made the 5 hour cruise an experience, not a tour. And we saw whales!!!
