Our guide Mariah was a wonderful person. She got in touch with us before 2 hours of the actual start time and guided us where to come. She is a very humble human being.

Sebastian was our tour guide and gave us very good instructions before setting out. He also was very responsible going back and forth between the people going in front and the stragglers. He also helped a girl that was not getting it and fell well behind and towed her. I myself forgot my water but he had extra water bottles. He also had good stories to tell and told us about the animals and the plants. My daughter and I had a double kayak and he kept an eye on us. I felt very comfortable having him there with his training and expertise. Originally we had scheduled a tube float but we got called and were told the water was too cold. They were very nice and rescheduled us on the kayaks at no extra cost. This was a lot better and we had a lot of fun. The place is kind of out of the way and we thought we were at the wrong spot. It would help a lot if the web page had GPS coordinates and maybe a note that you turn at the sign of fires.

I started my journey to meet the driver at the river and almost turned back because the dirt road was really bad. I should have listened to my gut. I was not comfortable being alone deep in a place without any s. When I arrived, I found that I was going alone after waiting to be booked if another party signed up. My experience went from bad to worse when my inner tube as I called it had the inclination to head straight for the river caps and even as I paddled to avoid them, it sailed right into the water flow coming into the river with a downed tree. I was hanging on to the tree and the current was so strong that it pulled my inner tube out from under me and I was now watching my vessel, phone and keys floating away. With one shoe still on, the other was pulled off in the current, I followed the river hoping to catch my tube and I found it after walking five minutes down river. I waded in and got it sans one camera that got water in it. The team was friendly, but should have never let me go alone. I aborted at the boat house, was taken back to my car and I was grateful I did not get more than black and blues on my knees and legs after what I went through.
