This trip allows you to explore the beauty of the Upper Colorado River while splashing through the riffles at your pace. A guide will accompany your group but you’ll be paddling your own inflatable kayak, or “ducky”.

AVA provided a great experience from start to finish. Vic and Megan were the best guides, providing great prep, safety and operational details. They also provided great information about the area on the bus ride. We did the 1/2 day kayak trip out of Kremmling. Too bad we didn't have more time as it went by way too fast!

Addy was excellent with those of us that were more novice kayakers. River did a great job handling the large number of families rafting all at the same time. Great fun! We hope to do it again on our next trip!

I highly recommend AVA! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They took care of every detail! This part of the river was fun, but not scary or stressful. Great exercise and relaxation. Beautiful scenery. Really lovely experience. Mike and Amanda were our guides and they were excellent. Definitely would do this again! Great value too. Even the road trip to and from the river was breathtaking scenery and really enjoyable. Saw lots of wildlife. Would not have experienced those roads otherwise. Excellent area to explore. Also recommend going up Muddy Creek road to the overlook and stopping to soak at Hot Sulphur Springs afterward.
