Floating past spectacular geological formations and views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range as you run exciting Class II-III rapids. This trip is suitable for families, first timers or experienced rafters with great views and lots of adventure. You will run the best 10 miles of whitewater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, groups or individuals looking to experience whitewater rafting in Colorado for the first time or tenth time. Great views and adventure! 2 to 3 hours on the water. This is the only trip that can start out of either of our locations.

Calvin was amazing! He made the trip so much fun. The rapids were great , I actually sat in front and was hesitant but so glad I did.. do much fun!!

We (my husband and I) did the Bighorn Sheep Canyon full day trip with our (amazing) guide Austin. Also in our boat was a dad and his 12 year old daughter. None of us had ever rafted before. From start to finish we felt like we were in confident and competent hands - Austin explained everything in detail from how to use the paddle for the different strokes, to how to rescue someone if they fell in (no one did), and what to expect on the upcoming rapids. Interspersed he shared information about the canyon and Colorado, shared stories about other rafting adventures, and had us all laughing at his rye humor. We chose this pariticular tour as two relativly athletic, competent adults who didn't want to be bored but didn't have experience-this tour delivered perfectly. As parents we would not have taken our kids (11 and 8) even though the tour allows, but the 12 year old who was with us did awesome-so, go with your gut deciding if your kids can handle it or give them a call for a recommendation. Definately recommended, we would go back.

100% fun 100% thrilling 100% highlight of the trip. Mike was awesome he kept us entertained as well as in the boat even when things went sideways at decision point. We would recommend ART to any family. Everything was great from the moment we got there..Jerry, Milly & the rest of the staff get kudos too. Thank you again for making this a great family adventure!
