Floating past spectacular geological formations and views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range as you run exciting Class II-III rapids. This trip is suitable for families, first timers or experienced rafters with great views and lots of adventure. You will run the best 10 miles of whitewater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, groups or individuals looking to experience whitewater rafting in Colorado for the first time or tenth time. Great views and adventure! 2 to 3 hours on the water. This is the only trip that can start out of either of our locations.

Once you arrive at the the river you will be given specific a professional guide that will take you on an adventure of a life time! You will spend 2-2.5 hours on the water running great whitewater, potential Bighorn Sheep sightings and viewing amazing Colorado scenery.

Our family had an amazing time rafting the Arkansas River! Our tour guide, Ethan Nelson, was funny, informative and made sure we all stayed in the raft. We had a blast and would highly recommend to other families!

We had a super fun time on our tour on the Arkansas river! Our guide, Millie, was experienced and professional, and did an awesome job guiding us down the river. It was a great family bonding time, and I would totally recommend it for a family with teens!

This was an INTENSE trip! The rapids were off the hook, and we got through them. Our guide, Sarah, was very aware of our inadequacies on the water, and worked with us. There were a few moments when I was sure I was going over, but we all remained in our raft, and ended up having a great time. All the guides were great, and seemed to have fun working together. Not sure my old body would be able to do it again, but I would recommend Arkansas River Tours to all my friends!
