Floating past spectacular geological formations and views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range as you run exciting Class II-III rapids. This trip is suitable for families, first timers or experienced rafters with great views and lots of adventure. You will run the best 10 miles of whitewater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, groups or individuals looking to experience whitewater rafting in Colorado for the first time or tenth time. Great views and adventure! 2 to 3 hours on the water. This is the only trip that can start out of either of our locations.

Took our grand kids, ages 8 and 12, with us on this exciting and fun river raft trip with plenty of rapids (Class II and III). Our guide was great and added a lot of commentary to the cool scenery. Would definitely go with the again.

This was a great 2 hour trek down the Arkansas river. Great views. Decent Rapids. Our guide Ellie was really nice, interesting, and knowledgeable. She had great tips about the area. Kept it simple and easy.

We had a great time rafting today with Arkansas River Tours! We did the full-day trip, with Tex as our rafting guide. I was very impressed by the precision with which he was able to navigate the river. He was patient with us as he guided us through learning the moves and how to work as a team. With Tex at the helm we all had a blast together. We had family visiting (two adults and two teenagers) and we made a memory that none of us will forget! I definitely recommend buying a picture after the trip is over. We were caught in mid-stride and having a blast!
