Recommend this experience for the beauty of the surroundings and the experience of riding horses. The ranch and staff, however, seemed disorganized and disinterested. The check in process was straightforward and seamless with an iPad for signing releases. It went downhill after that as we got to the corral. There was lots of confusion about who exactly would be leading the ride, with another group of customers pushing hard to have one particular guide and to go with him exclusively. While we waited for staff to figure al that out, we ended up going in one large group of 10 riders. It was a slow process for staff to bring horses out one by one and eventually get us ready to go. The guide basically only talked to the first few people behind him. I personally could not hear anything he was saying. He did stop and get off his horse when my husband asked him to check my horse, since he was constantly throwing his head trying to throw his feed bag off. We did not get to stop for a picture which was disappointing.
All in all we did enjoy, just because of the uniqueness but it could have been a 5 star excursion with just a little more effort from the ranch staff.
