I want to point out what I found were the positives and ideas to improve. First, we had what I considered the perfect size, 6 riders, plus our guide Deshaun. Riders’ level of experience was never having been on a horse to an accomplished rider. I would recommend a little more ring time before departing.
Deshaun answered all of my questions, yet the riders in the rear couldn’t hear him. I would recommend stopping for just a couple of minutes in a few intervals to check on riders and give instruction on how to handle the horse.
We had a beautiful ride, we made it to the top of a gravel road and Deshaun took photos of each couple with the mountain range as our backdrop. These horses do not gallop, it’s more of a slight trot but my horse was very well mannered.
Overall it was enjoyable, but I would not want to be with a large group.
