We are not avid horse people, but trail rides have become something we all enjoy different places on vacation. This was a great trip. We did a full day near Zion National Park about a year ago, and this was very different, and I would say better. The views cannot be beat, and the trail and forest were very lush with wildflowers, etc. The ride was enough to make us sore the next day, but not enough to cause real pain. It's nose-to-tail, but I felt like the horses were terrific, and responsive to each of us. I have some experience, and had no difficulty taking my horse where I wanted him. Good opportunity for photos. Bugs were more of a problem than I would have thought. My daughter found out that the Teton mosquitos can bite through leggings, so wear pants. Rec. sunscreen, though tee shirts in July were fine. Also, glad to have a hat (with a strap). We tipped but were not hit up by the crew, which was nice.
