The Kauai Highlights is a small group tour lead by a local family business. Is the perfect tour for a shore excursion, and a great bang for your buck.
Shared tours available only on Thursdays, private tours available Mon-Sat.

We will take you on a journey to enjoy the highlights of Kauai's South and West. Marvel at the power of nature as we share with you legends, history, culture and the geology of our islands. A day filled with many leisure stops, and opportunities to eat and shop local.

Included on this tour are several stops at the famous Waimea Canyon, the Spouting Horn, Kauai Coffee and more. See full route details under "What to Expect".

Take the day off from driving and let us show you Kauai through local eyes.

  • Wear comfortable clothing, good walking shoes, hat or cap and sunglasses.
  • If you weigh 280 lbs and up please contact us so we can make arrangements to give you an extra seat. There will be an additional fee for this.
  • No refunds pass the 24 hours prior to the start of the tour.
  • In consideration for on time guests and our after hours duties we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
  • We can drop off guest at the cruise port at 3:30pm, and the airport.

Државни парк кањон Ваимеа је један од драгуља Кауаија, познат као мини Велики кањон Пацифика. Споутинг Хорн
Наш диван заједнички дан завршава се посетом граду Поипу где ћемо се возити кроз бујни и култни Тунел дрвећа на путу да посетимо Рог који излива, угашену цев од лаве која је постала рупа од воде. Зачудите се моћи природе док се таласи разбијају о обалу и јуре кроз цев. Трешња на врху!

Our adventure begins with a drive through the famous Poipu Tree Tunnel, followed by a visit to the beautiful Spouting Horn, an extinct lava tube that became a water geyser. Marvel at the power of nature as the waves crash on the shore and water rushes through the tube. Your guide will share the legend of the site, sound effects and all.

Hanapepe
Second in our agenda is a visit to the charming and historic Hanapepe town. Here you will have time to walk across the famous swinging bridge, built in 1912, enjoy some pastries at a local bakery, and visit some of the local art galleries and souvenir shops. For Disney lovers, this is the town of Lilo & Stich.

Waimea Canyon State Park is one of Kauai's gems, known as the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Here we will make 3 stops, including the main lookout at 3400 feet elevation. You will see the Canyon from various angles and also the Forbidden island of Niihau from afar. Many stories will be shared and fabulous pictures taken. Majestic beauty at its finest!

Kauai Coffee Company
After lunch, get ready to visit the magical world of coffee at the largest plantation in the USA, Kauai Coffee Co. Sample many roasts for free at the visitor center, take a stroll through the coffee tree garden, and shop for a wide selection of the freshest beans at their gift shop. Don’t like coffee? Enjoy an ice cream or cold beverage at the snack shop.

The tour was a great way to get a good overview of the island and its history. Coco was informative and pleasant. We had a great time and got great ideas for other things to see on the island.

We went on the Kauai highlights tour and it was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this tour and Coco goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time. She is very friendly and kind and shares so many tips about the island. Simply the best!! 🎵

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with mama Coco. She made the trip informative and fun!! All of her stops were great and we saw so much in one day. The van was clean, cool and comfortable. So much to learn and experience on this tour!! So happy we decided to do this!!
