Koiya was an excellent guide and knew a lot about the area! We loved seeing the caves and sea lions. Thank you for making our fun trip to La Jolla even better!

They were a bit disorganized. Lots of helpers present and we checked in when they told us to only to be told to wait for more than a half hour before we actually checked in. Then we got our wet gear and went to the beach and after waiting there for more than 40 minutes we were told we could not go into the caves. Apparently this info was know by staff but not disclosed earlier. Being 45 minutes late on our scheduled departure time we decided to leave. No refunds of course, only credit. We were visting and had other plans for the day, didn't want to reschedule them so we just left. Perhaps the worst part was there were lots of employees hanging around but little organization. Very disappointed with the communication. They should have told us up front that we can't go into the caves instead of wasting our time & money.

This tour was very informative! We loved learning about La Jolla's geography and animals. The guides, Madison and Georgio were funny but the only downside was that the tour group had about 10 kayaks and so, at times, if you were on the outer circle of kayaks, you could barely hear the guides. Kayaking in the ocean was a lot of fun and we saw sea turtles, cormorants, pelicans and sea lions! We were unfortunately unable to enter the cave due to the high tide.
