Enjoyable tour, about the right amount of time on the water, and equipment all in great working condition. Gabi was a great tour guide, pointing out lots of birds, crabs, and underwater life. We didn't see dolphins or manatees, but we know that doesn't always happen. Mangrove tunnels were cool, though I liked the coves and open water better. Definitely wear water shoes (not flip flops) since you need to stand in the shallow water to launch and return, though water is only about 2 feet deep or less in those places, and pretty shallow for the whole tour. We had life jackets but never felt for a second we needed them.
Gabi gave good info for helping people get started and feel comfortable, though our group felt large. We had a few tandem kayaks (4 or 5) plus a bunch of single kayaks (another 8+? I didn't count, but it sure felt like a lot of us). It was hard to keep us together since there were so many of us with such varying levels of experience, and that made it hard to hear some of her narration of the area, though she projects her voice well. We asked her to repeat, which was fine, but I would have appreciated a smaller group experience.
Parking was not what we expected. We showed up early and the lot was full. Several tours use the same parking lot and so we had to park on a nearby road and walk back. It wasn't a huge deal, in hindsight, but it made us feel like we were a bit rushed instead of relaxed. It would have been nice to know that there was limited parking when we booked the trip so that we could have been a bit earlier to secure parking in the lot.
Overall, it was very pleasant. I enjoyed the experience.
