Took this tour to see the life of the sled dogs. The guides were super. The dogs are treated well. We were able to pet the sled dogs and the puppies. The sled ride was fun but the seats fit only 2 across. I was the 3rd and felt like I was falling off the seat.

It was worth the cost! It was one of our top two trip experiences. We were 6 adults. The staff had us meet the experienced sled dogs, who were very happy to be petted. Then we all had time to hold the litter of puppies, as they want them to be very comfortable with people. We saw, touched, and learned about the musher's clothing and dogs' gear. Then we experienced a ride behind a mixed team of experienced dogs and 1-year-olds. We learned so much about the Iditarod and the training for dogs and mushers. We'll be following this team during the next Iditarod!

Jordan was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He answered a lot of questions about the dogs and mushing the Ididerod. We got to spend some time with the dogs and puppies. Even in the rain, Mom and I had a really fun time.
