Let's raise a glass to history! This fun, informative and engaging 90-minute walking tour is sure to please anyone who wants to really get to know the local culture of Ketchikan. You'll embark on your pub crawl with a true local who will share the colorful history of the bar scene through stories and vintage photographs. You'll hear infamous stories of days gone by, facts of the prohibition era when the red-light district was in full swing and the legacy of many of Ketchikan’s most popular hot spots. Guests must be 21 years of age, have legal photo ID and be able to walk over the course of ¾ mile, flat terrain. Must dress for the weather.

This was an excursion booked through our cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife and I are in our mid-40s and this looked like something that would be fun. Our guide was Hamish and he was fantastic - funny, had great stories about the area, what it's like to live there and is a true local. If Weird Al Yankovic and Ketchikan local legend, Dolly had a child it would look like Hamish we think (he told us we could have fun with any review so there you go, Hamish). We visited a few bars and everyone in our group seemed to have a great time. The bars were very welcoming to our group and we found some great, unique signature drinks. This is well worth doing when you're in Ketchikan!

My hubby and I took this as an excursion for our cruise stop in Ketchikan. Our guide was Savannah. Even though the cruise stop was very early and we had limited amount of time due to the on board time for the cruise ship, we had so much fun visiting 3 different bars. Savannah gave us a little bit of history for each bar and the first round was on her!! Everyone was very friendly and we really enjoyed sampling the local beers. Definitely will take this tour again next time we’re back!!!
