Let's raise a glass to history! This fun, informative and engaging 90-minute walking tour is sure to please anyone who wants to really get to know the local culture of Ketchikan. You'll embark on your pub crawl with a true local who will share the colorful history of the bar scene through stories and vintage photographs. You'll hear infamous stories of days gone by, facts of the prohibition era when the red-light district was in full swing and the legacy of many of Ketchikan’s most popular hot spots. Guests must be 21 years of age, have legal photo ID and be able to walk over the course of ¾ mile, flat terrain. Must dress for the weather.

I went on this pub crawl with my 24 year old daughter and we had such a blast! There were only four of us on the tour with two guides and they were incredible. We got to hear about some of the Ketchikan history and about life for locals living in the community all while drinking our choice of a cocktail or beers brewed locally. We visited three pubs then got some recommendations for local restaurants and sites to see afterwards. Would strongly recommend!

My fiancé and I did this pub crawl as an excursion on our cruise to Alaska in October 2023. We absolutely loved it! Our cruise ship docked in Ward Cove, which is a 10-15 minute drive outside of town. Tim met our group at the cruise terminal and drove us into town, which saved us having to worry about the busy shuttles into town from the port. We went to three establishments in town, including a recently opened distillery inside an old fire station. Jillian was our tour guide and was fantastic! She is a permanent local resident and grew up in Ketchikan, so she was able to give us real insight into what it was like living and growing up in the town on top of the historical significance of the city. The establishments gave us great drink options, and a real look into where the locals in town hang out. At the end of this great tour, while being dropped back off at the port terminal, my fiancé’s phone fell out of his pocket getting out of the van, and he didn’t realize it until we made it back through security on the ship. Naturally we panicked, since the all-aboard time was in 30 minutes. He was able to get the ship excursions manager to call the tour. Tim found his phone in the back seat and made it all the way back to the cruise terminal in 15 minutes! My fiancé was EXTREMELY grateful and relieved for the extra miles (literally) they went to help him get his phone back. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that loves local pub crawls!
