During a stop ashore, your knowledgeable guide will lead a short nature walk highlighting the flora and fauna of the rainforest, including a carnivorous plant, the Sundew, which uses it’s tentacles to ensnare small insects. After paddling back, guests re-board the motorcoach and return to the cruise ship pier.

Our guides were great and funny. We had 20 people in the canoe they served snacks and a drink of hot chocolate water or juice. We had a salmon dip on bread and a berry jam spread too along with gold fish Crackers. The hike was easy and short. All together it was an easy excursion. Cole and Ellie were great.

Our guide Zach was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Just disappointed we didn’t see any wildlife. And some people sat in the boat and didn’t row 🤬😬 Nice snack and drinks toward the end. I would rather be in this environment in the peace and quiet because we were surrounded by beauty.

Our guide Colt was great. He was very energetic and very informative. He made the entire trip fun! The lake was beautiful and we saw a bald eagle and a doe. The rainforest walk was nice and we learned a lot about the flora. The food was good and I even enjoyed the seafood chowder and I don’t like seafood. I would tell people doing this excursion that the walk is not hard and canoeing and paddling in the canoe is not strenuous either, very relaxing.
