I absolutely and honestly never leave reviews. I think they are usually for people who have had either had an awful experience or an exceptional one, and often times it’s only hurts a business when it’s really not necessary. One persons bad experience shouldn’t be the reflection of everyone who else who may want to share that same experience. Unfortunately, my experience needs to be noted. We travel to Key West often and have done many tours, all in which are great. I’m not sure if something is going on with the Captain (JIM) in his personal life, but he was exceptionally rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. We will never ride a Fury Excursion or recommend one ever again. I hope Jim resolves any issues he has that he is apparently taking out on his customers. It’s a very sad and unfortunate situation.

Hi Erica, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Fury. We truly regret that you were unable to take this trip and do wish you had a better experience. Upon reading your review, we met with our Operations and Call Center managers to discuss as Captain Jim is favored in reviews so frequently we were truly shocked to hear anything but the usual glowing compliments. We feel the need to clarify that your group was in breach of a strict US Coast Guard policy that we must enforce and ultimately we were unable to allow your group to proceed with the trip. We hate to ever deny a guest the chance to experience this wonderful trip and witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat but this is executed for the safety of your group. As a courtesy, we did refund your entire group, ultimately going out with open seats on the boat and in breach of our 24 hour cancellation policy. We do wish you had considered that your group did take a role in ultimately not being able to take the excursion and Captain Jim just bore the responsibility of enforcing these safety rules. We love that Key West has a laid back, party vibe however before being exposed to the open ocean, our skilled Captain must make decisions based on the safety of our guests. Again, we truly do wish you were able to experience this trip and hope you have the opportunity to, under the correct conditions, in the future!

Very well organized with safety of passengers and ocean environment emphasized. We saw wild dolphin and our guides knew their stuff. They were very concerned with the well/being of these amazing mammals which so impressed me. Fun snorkeling experience. Would highly recommend.

Definitely don't book if there is a chance you can't make it!! My flight was cancelled on a Sunday and this was booked for Monday. My whole vacation was cancelled! My travel agent tried to cancel that day- Sunday- but nobody got back to him. They kept saying the owner wasn't in so now they tell me no refund because it wasn't 24 hours in advance. As a single mother who saved forever for this vacation its very disappointing. I know when I do go to the Keys I will definitely not use this company

Hi Anna Marie, We are very sorry that your flight was cancelled and ultimately caused you to miss your trip to Key West. There are a few different options we offer to our guests when having to cancel a trip and while we do have fairly strict 24 cancellation policy that is clear before booking, we always try to work our guests as we do want you to have the best experience possible. An agent from our Call Center did respond to your representative that had the request been made closer to the date of your trip we could have made an attempt to work with you but as it was over a week after we were left with few options. This is the same policy that you would find enforced with any small water sports company in the Keys- we cannot refund every guest who is unable to make their trip unless they contact us on the day of the trip or shortly thereafter. We do hope you are able to reschedule your trip to the Keys. We hope to give you the opportunity to experience a trip with Fury and allow us to provide you a stellar and far from one star experience!
