To start we signed up /paid, at hotel.
We were told to be at Sunset water sports store/hut at 5:05 or 510, for our 530 dinner cruise, To get our bands/checked in. we got there at 4:45. If you drive there’s a lot there but go early bc parking is limited and you have to pay at a deist age kiosk, which takes time. Checking in at the sunset Watersports hut, the line was at least 50 or 60 people deep. People were paying for other things at the same time, and there was only one person inside doing all of the work. She was very pleasant, but she’s only one person. That is an extreme oversight on sunset water sports part. There should have been at least another person checking in people who already paid. at 5:24 the photo I will post is how many people were still left in line. It was hot and people were getting concerned/cranky and concerned they’d miss the boat. Once on the boat, the sunset and atmosphere were perfect outside. The food was good. Dessert would’ve been nice. Keylime pie or Keylime bars or something. It is Key West after all. I think more people were interested in being upstairs and drinking than eating. You can eat downstairs or upstairs. They will ask you before you board. If you eat upstairs, there is nowhere to sit. Barely anywhere to put your food if there’s a lot of people. There were about 60 on our boat total. Captain and crew were nice and very helpful during dinner. Very accommodating. There is bathroom on board. We sat up front on our way out with one other couple and it was great. It was peaceful. We sat on the back on the way back into Port. Same situation. If you want to enjoy the view in peace and quiet, that’s where I recommend to sit. Guys upstairs on top played music. County mostly. They were good. do not recommend this for children at all. It is a very adult atmosphere. All in all it was a pleasant evening, but I only need to do it once.
