Keli and Kris were excellent and engaging hosts during my walking food tour through Kona. We started at the perfect time of day so I did not have to get up at the crack of dawn. Also, it was just before lunch so the promise of food was predictable and welcome. As the stroll started Keli and Kris were attentive to the group and seemed to adapt us all pace. I never felt rushed or dragged behind. They were interactive with the group as well as the places we visited. Keli is well traveled and has lots of knowledge and fun facts to share. In between being hospitable, Kris coordinated our stops with the restaurants to keep us on schedule. The restaurants were always ready to accommodate our group and because of their friendships the wait staff and the managers (owners) seemed to be attentive and happy we were there. The food and drinks were awesome and plentiful. We ended our stroll (about 2 1/2 hours that went very quickly) with a sweet treat of our choice and at a jumping off place to decide what to do next for the rest of a beautiful day. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes a "productive" walk in a beautiful place with good company. Even if you can't eat some of the foods you will enjoy talking stories and sharing camaraderie with Kris and Keli.

Having come to Kona for 20+ years it was fun to take a new tour. Keli and Kris really do an excellent job of giving historical facts while taking you to some wonderful local establishments. I learned a lot of history while on this tour which is presented in a fun way. My husband and I both felt it was an great value for the food and drink included. So glad such an exceptional tour is now available.
