We booked this experience to include a meal at the Bonefish Grill and transport.
The booking process was straight forward and the booking confirmation came through as expected.
The meal - The Bonefish Grill meal was fantastic. They offered, meat, fish, Vegetarian options and had a gluten free menu too. Needing a gluten free meal this was great as many other places in Las Vegas just looked at you when you asked, as if it was the first time they were hearing the phrase 'Gluten Free'.
The service was efficient with a friendly waitress who was accommodating to change from the set menu to incorporate the GF menu.
The food itself was cooked well, great tasting, succulent and plentiful. Probably one of if not the the nicest meal we had whilst in Las Vegas.
A very good choice.
The Helicopter flight - The scheduled departure time of our flight was 2045hrs. We were picked up from the restaurant at 1930hrs and taken to the airport. We checked in and had our weight taken so as the helicopter could be organised and weight distributed evenly. Then the waiting began.............
Lots of other people arrived afterwards and left before us on the helicopters. We finally took off at approx 2130 the last but one group to take off.
There were 6 people plus the pilot in the helicopter so it was a little cramped to say the least but its the luck of the draw I guess as it was 6 fairly big blokes. There were other flights leaving with smaller people on board but the same number.
The flight itself lasted about 10 minutes but was fantastic, it was great to see LV from above at night. We flew down the strip and back up the other side so you got to see it from both sides.
Despite the waiting and the space inside I would 100% recommend doing a night flight.
Improvements that could be made;
- try to limit the waiting by working on the logistics of collections better. We waited 2 hrs at the airport which was too long.
- Extend the flight time of course :-)
All in all the experience was worth it and at a great price too.
I would recommend.
