Start off your tour in the shadow of the original Saint Patrick's Cathedral and learn all about it's rich history in the neighborhood as a pillar of the Italian community, peek inside the "little door" and see where the most iconic Godfather Movie scene was shot!

Elizabeth Street Garden

Stroll through this beautiful neighborhood garden, filled with classic statures and modern sculptures. Learn all about it's storied history and how it may be demolished soon to make way for more housing.

I have traveled to NYC numerous times and the Foods of NY Tour was my favorite activity of all! My son and I did the NoLita tour with Bert. Bert was incredibly welcoming, friendly, very knowledgeable of the foods and the neighborhood, and was a joy to visit with. I loved learning the history of the area just as much as the delicious foods we tasted. My favorite item was the coconut lemongrass chicken taco from 5ive Spice…DELICIOUS! I have told everyone I know planning a trip that this needs to be added to their itinerary. We will definitely be trying another Foods of NY Tour on our next visit.

This tour was one of the best experiences in our 10 years of regular visits to NYC. Our group of four was immersed in the geography, sociology, culture, history, the architecture--and The Food-- of 'Little Italy Our guide Bert was a Total Ten--Friendly, charming, knowledgeable, and Fun! I'd go on any of his tours. Now we want to take every with FNYT!
