We did the lama yoga and lavendar loofah excursion this past saturday. We had amazing weather. Yoga instructor was amazing. The class is all levels and focused on stretching, nothing crazy. Everyone can do it. Lamas are not very social animals, they kinda get scared when coming closer. After they eat their snacks they just kind waited by the gate, seemed like they wanted to go back in their open field. However there are many goats and they are extremely friendly and curious if you are looking for interaction. After class, they released the goats. We pet them and fed them with grass from our hands, they approach humans and curious to see what is inside your bag if you leave on the ground. The owner of the farm Andrea gave us the lavender soap loofah workshop. The workshop was outside and we maintained distance. The event wasnt packed, just the right amount of people. It wasnt the plant loofah, what she thought us to make was a felt wrapped soap- which serves like a loofah in bath. And we got to keep our felt wrapped soaps. Andrea also gave us a little background on how they started the farm, and what the animals are for etc. And some information on why it is good to use natural oil base soap. They also have a cute giftshop that is very reasonbly priced. They let us go back to the goats and lamas for photograpy. It was a very relaxed environment and very friendly people. I would def. recommend their tours to anyone. i plan to go back for the hike. Lamas do photograph very well, make sure to take plenty of photos!
