This is a 2 hour and 15 minute tour with Lovers Key Adventures master naturalist guide, Stephen, who expertly guides our guests through the mangrove canopied estuary explaining the importance of the southwest Florida eco-system -the history of the area- from the Calusa Indians, Conquistadors, and Ponce De Leon..on. He finds wildlife and introduces our guests to the various birds, vegetation, dolphins, and manatee (if they’re around that day;) This is one of the unique experiences available in southwest Florida. No tour is ever the same there is no script and many guests return year after year to enjoy Stephen's expertise and the beauty of Lovers Key
Our guests also often take advantage of the beaches and hiking trails offered inside the state park. There are many photo opportunities available to capture the memories of this incredible experience within the natural surroundings of the untouched Florida landscape.

We enjoyed our tour very much. It was my 15 year old's favorite part of our vacation, and my 12 year old loved the hand-on experiences of holding a starfish and seeing dolphins and manatees up close. Stephen was knowledgeable, welcoming and seemed excited to answer our questions. My husband and I both learned a lot and enjoyed the pace and new experience of this tour. Perfect way to start your day!

Sitting in a kayak and watching the osprey dive out of the sky into the water and then fly away overhead with a fish gripped in its talons.

We had a wonderful time on the kayak tour. We were able to see an alligator, 2 manatees, a star fish, and many different types of birds. Plus we learned a lot about the echo system. I would definitely recommend this tour.
