Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Please be sure to arrive 45 minutes prior to the tour time. This is to give you enough time to locate the activity site and complete the check in process before tour departure, 30 minutes later. Walking tour portion is approximately 60 minutes. All tour must depart on time, and late arrivals are subject to no refund.
All guests must be able to walk unassisted on uneven surfaces and elevation changes i.e., steep incline/decline
No bags and backpacks of ANY kind inside the canyon, please leave those in your vehicle.
No camera equipment (tripods, monopods, selfie-sticks, camera bags) inside the canyon, please those in your vehicle.
Antelope Canyon does not allow: HIKING STICKS, CANES, WALKERS, OR WHEELCHAIRS.
No umbrellas, open-toed shoes, sandals or high heels (proper clothing required).
No Strollers, Wheel based devices such as wheelchairs, and Canes are permitted.
Infants (ages 0-3) REQUIRES a ticket to participate. If your child cannot walk during the tour, it is required that you carry your child in a front chest carrier or a back pack carrier.
Pets and Service Animals are not allowed.
No drones, GoPros or camcorders inside the canyon, please those in your vehicle.

Arrive at the check-in site, giving time for our guest to park their vehicles, and leave anything they do not need or allowed on the guided tour there. Then complete their final check-in process with the local Navajo Indian guides at the tour building and be ready to depart on the tour once their group's turn to enter is called.

We were expecting a beautiful canyon, but this was FAR beyond our expectations. Photo options at every. single. turn. If you are lucky enough to get Rho as your tour guide, you are lucky. He was extremely knowledgeable, informative, patient, and kind. His vast knowledge of a wide variety of phone cameras was quite helpful, and he even served as an experienced photographer for our group shots. The trip took on a whole new meaning when Rho played a beautiful Navajo song on a traditional windwood instrument (I am sorry I forgot the name). Yes, the tour was crowded, but it was worth every penny. The scenery and our tour guide made it unforgetable. It was one of the best family experiences we have had together.

Seeing the Canyon start to open up and how deep it was in spots! The stairs were crazy steep, and the landscape is amazing! Using a Photosphere or Panarama pic on the phone is a good idea!

The tour was gorgeous. Definitely worth going. If you are going in July make sure to go early. However, we did have a not so pleasant experience with our tour guide. I think he was having a rough day which I completely understand we have bad days. Our group felt rushed through the entire experience, consistently being told to hurry up. Weren’t allowed to take pictures with each individual phone. We loved some pictures he took, however didn’t love when he wiped my lenses of my phone with his shirt. He would explain information to the front of the group and ask the group to repeat back to the end of the group. Accused one of our group members of taking a picture on the stairs when she didn’t. We wish it was a little slower. I understand we couldn’t go too fast due to groups being behind us but we all felt a little scared when we were told if we do anything wrong he would escort us out. He also mentioned not receiving tips for his job. Totally understand his frustration and I could tell he was just having a rough day. However, we paid for this experience and it definitely didn’t go how we thought it would.
