The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today.

The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the narrow canyon’s walls, creating a dazzling display of color, light, and shadow.

Lower Antelope Canyon

A 1 hour guided tour through Lower Antelope Canyon. Learn about the geology, history and the culture of the Navajo people that live around the canyon. Don't forget to bring a camera you will be taking a lot of photos! Antelope canyon is famous for its wave-like structure and the light beams that shine directly down into the openings of the canyon, creating a super natural appearance. Many travellers and photographers have been attracted here, regard it as a place where dreams come true. Different from the flat ground of Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon requires visitors to climb upside and down through staircases and ladders. It feels like you are entering a new planet, starting a magical adventure.

They views are immaculate,mind blowing🤯 and almost impossible to believe.My soul was it peace i side that canon.I loved every single bit of it and I was lucky to have a wonderful tour guide Joanne she poured her soul in guiding us...God bless her fun and kind soul

The guide Tylen was very kind, knowledgeable, a bit affected by the white people treatment against Navajos - we were white but not those guys from the past - overall was a great experience.

Beautiful canyon. Friendly guide. She helped us take great pictures. Be ready to comb up and down some steep stairs .
