Our cabin is located in Skyline, one of the best aurora viewing spots in Fairbanks, perched on a towering mountaintop far from the city lights. It faces a northern valley where the aurora frequently appears. Multiple outdoor viewing platforms provide ample space for guests to take photos, ensuring everyone enjoys a private, uninterrupted experience while marveling at the northern lights.

Inside the cabin, the flames in the hearth dance joyfully, casting a warm glow on the wooden ceilings and walls, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere. With a cup of hot chocolate in hand, you can admire the graceful dance of the aurora through the large glass windows, feeling as though it’s within reach. Outside, the world is still and silent, with only the aurora sweeping across the sky. The cabin becomes a hidden sanctuary where you are at one with nature, experiencing the profound tranquility and awe of the moment.

We successfully saw the aurora, and my family and I had the perfect trip to Fairbanks. The lodge was very cozy and faced north, allowing us to watch the aurora dance from the horizon across the entire sky. I highly recommend this for family trips!

Mike and Stellar did a great job giving us every opportunity to see Aurora and provided great photography advice. Knowing the weather and current conditions they were able to take us to alternative locations to observe. They did an amazing job keeping us updated as the evening progressed. The cabin was a great place to warm up and had amazing views. Our hosts were gracious and great to work with.

Stella is great at photography! She showed us where to spot the aurora and helped me set up my gear. The lodge was warm, and Stella gave us timely alerts when the aurora got active.
