Parasailing is a water sport in which a person is towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. The parasail is suspended from a harness that is attached to the boat, and as the boat moves, the parasailer is lifted into the air and glides through the sky.

Parasailing in the Straits Area, you can see views of the famous Mackinac Bridge, see Mackinac Island from a distance and a birds eye view of the beautiful Lake Huron.

To participate in parasailing, you do not need any special skills or training. The activity is typically supervised by trained staff who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and instruction.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Is there weight restrictions? Yes, must be at least 125lbs and combined weight for flying tandem, no more than 450lbs. Wind and water conditions may allow for changes to these per the captain.

My two sons each did a solo parasailing and what an experience they had. My husband and I were able to stay on the boat as observers to get some great photos and videos! The driver of the boat and the young man did an excellent job making it fun and safe! Would recommend this adventure for anyone visiting Mackinac! Price is reasonable too for the hour you are out on the boat.

Best adventure of my life!!! Captain Joe was wonderful. So calm and patient explaining procedure for parasailing. Made the adventure so fun we did it two times in our 5 days in Mackinaw City!!!!

I had a fabulous time! The guys were super friendly and professional. This would have been a five star experience. However, the only complaint is the photo quality. We paid for the photo package. The picture quality was terrible, they are super blurry and seemed to have been taken with an older camera. If I did it again, I'd have someone else take the pictures with my phone and save my money. Otherwise, I had the best time!
