Perfect combination of relaxation, interest, and fun. John was engaging and informative, and obviously knew what he was doing because everywhere we went became crowded later with other guides bringing their tours over to see what John had found for us.

Kayaking was easy (no experience needed) - we saw half a dozen sleeping or swimming turtles and even got to be snorkeling as they swam. Just be careful to keep your distance to protect them and not disrupt their natural behavior. Matt, our guide was excellent and professional. Good knowledge about local culture and history - and federal laws protecting the turtles. We appreciate his efforts to educate other snorkelers not in our group about protecting the turtles. His upsell of taking underwater photos for us was pricey but well worth it, as he is skilled at skin diving and taking pictures aiming toward the surface (to catch us snorkelers and swimming turtles).
