For little more than the price of a cattle call boat to the SOL, this wonderful evening cruise out of Chelsea Piers 62 was a beautifully serene cruise all the way around the river beyond Ellis Island. The jazz combo was very nice listening, and the break from music also was good, giving us a chance to hear the sounds of the river. The night was drizzling wet, but visibility for photos was very good. We sat in comfortable seating, enjoyed a nice glass of wine and mixed drinks, and pleasantly watched the passing skyline. NYC at night - the skyline - is just terrific. The Manhattan II took it slow and easy, and the two hour time period was just right for seeing up-close the Statue of Liberty, the NJ Train Terminal, Ellis Island.... and of course trying to identify the iconic buildings of the NY skyline. Employees were friendly, attentive, and gracious. The jazz musicians were very good, and we enjoyed this trip immensely. Thank you Classic Cruise Lines for a nice trip!

Cruise was exactly as stated. Beautiful jazz playing while cruising the harbor at sunset. Exceptional service by the crew.

We had such a great time in this cruise! Not only the actual experience with the skyline is breathtaking, but also the jazz band was outstanding and the champagne glass was an elegant touch. People tend to dress up, so try not to go all tourist in flip flops and shorts.
