As Our hotel Pod51 offered these walks for free to their guests, we did 2 tours With Dan & co. Both the Brooklyn-tour and the Meatpacking - Soho - Greenwich Village tour were great! I highly recommend this if you want an insider's view of NY and to Discover neighbourhoods and sights you'd never find on Your own. Walk the walks!

The free walking tours offered courtesy of Pod Hotels is an awesome way to see the sights in New York. My first tour was of the meat packing district. I opted to do a second tour of Chinatown because of the quality. Patrick, our tour guide rocks! I highly recommend.

Dan took us on a fantastic, informative, leisurely paced tour of areas of lower Manhattan away from the madness of Times Square. We visited areas that we would not have thought about visiting, and would have had difficulty finding. In 6 hours we had an introduction to riding the subway, visited Chelsea market, the High Line, Meatpacking district, Soho, Greenwich village and Washington Square park, Little Italy, China Town and Wall Street. He gave us just the right amount of information about the various areas and was able to answer all our questions.We have been on tours before where we were 'brain dead' with the number of facts fed to us, but this was perfect. With stops for coffee, lunch and ice cream, it was an excellent tour and we will probably book again for a different tour when we return next year.
