The tour was a gem of the trip. Six of us went, ages 12 to 77. We did the tour on our first full day in Maui (a Saturday) because we knew we'd each get a pineapple to take with us and that gave us the rest of the week to eat them. (Though they were gone in 3 days). Moe (Mo?) was our guide. Personable and knowledgeable. Very interesting to learn the process, see the team working in the fields, and go into the packing plant (which is a cool space all on its own). Beautiful scenery. Good photos. Pineapple tasting right out in the field. You'll not want to buy a pineapple from anywhere other than Maui Gold again. If you've been on a winery tour, this has a similar feel. It's an easy drive from Lahaina. Pro tip, come early or stay a little longer and go to the art gallery/glass blowing in the adjacent building -- neat place. And, if you can get lunch across the street at the General Store, all the better. I highly recommend it.
