Our tour guide was charismatic, funny, and happy to take pictures for the guests. We toured the plantation and packing facility.
Our tour was on a Saturday, and the packing facility/plantation was void of workers. I would have loved to witness the hustle and bustle first-hand. This made it difficult to envision the process of harvesting and preparing the pineapples for consumers. If you want to see the workers in action, perhaps it would be ideal to schedule the tour with this in mind. We were gifted a pineapple to to take home. We flew Southwest and had no issues bringing the Maui pineapples as carry-ons. No fees. Overall, I felt it was overpriced for the experience ($65/pp + taxes/fees for a 90 minute tour). You can purchase Maui Gold pineapple from the Costco, airport, or various grocery stores in Maui.
