The boat and crew of the Pride of Maui were great. They handled everything really well with a boat packed full of people during spring break. That being said...just know that if you go during spring break or high tourist season, the boat could be packed with well over 100 people. We had to sit on the ground it was so full. The Snuba instructor is good, and you get about a 20 minute Snuba experience. It’s really quick but understandable with the group size. Molokini Crater is pretty busy with other tour boats and tons of snorkelers, but it’s one of those places you want to see at least once. Turtle town was ok, but crowded experience again. The food served on board was good, and it’s definitely an upbeat, social experience.

There are several companies that will take you to snorkel at Molokini, but I think you'll be hard pressed to find a more attentive, customer focused crew. From check-in to disembarkation, they have their system down perfectly. I will expand on how great the crew was, as it really made this tour stand out... The crew was literally at our service the entire duration of our tour. They anticipated every need and took care of everything from offering suitable snorkel gear for my husband who wears glasses (they have 'prescription' snorkel masks.. who knew!) to offering a quick lesson for first-time snorkelers, or offering to carry up drinks when they noticed we had full hands. The photographer was such fun and took great shots and videos of our day... I think he enjoyed the tour as much as we did! The lifeguard was also very observant and reactive to the needs and abilities of the passengers. She was attentive as we entered the water and helped us get our bearings and use our equipment properly. She was always at the right place at the right time, it seemed, and actively engaged with everyone. She was pointing out the turtles at Turtle Bay and made sure everyone got a chance to see them. And responded quickly when one of the passengers took in a bit of water and started to panic. We couldn't have asked for a better tour. As luck would have it, we got a great show of whales breaching and playing in the water on the way to Molokini. Our captain stopped to allow us to watch for a great length of time before moving along. The continental breakfast was perfect and the lunch was excellent and well timed between our stop at the crater and Turtle Bay. There was plenty to go around and tasty with all of the fixings. The provide everything you could need for the day... reef-friendly sunscreen, your snorkel equipment, pool noodles, waist floaties and boogie boards with 'viewing' look-holes for those who don't like to wear the snorkel masks. I really can't rate this tour high enough. Book you spot now and prepare for an amazing day!

The organization was excellent. Check-in was quick and then we boarded the boat. Everyone received a plate with croissant, muffin, jam, .. with coffee or juice or water. The benches on the upper floor were comfortable and we had room for our plates, glasses and luggage. The view was beautiful and the explanations given by the captain were very good. Our two dives were good. Between the two dives, we were served a lunch with burgers and/or hot dogs. We even had the chance to see whales on their way and back. Fantastic!!!
