The crew was fabulous and went out of their way to make sure you were getting the most of your experience! Having said that, I was VERY sea sick and started vomiting once we reached the Crater. I did not know that you can get sea sick IN the water! After I snorkled a few minutes (beautiful coral and fish, very clear water, comfortable temperature) I started vomiting IN the water! :( The crew was very helpful in suggesting where to stand on the boat for the least movement, they fixed me a ginger drink to help with the nausea, vomiting, and they checked on me frequently. I did not eat any of the food or drinks on the boat but it looked like everyone else was enjoying it. There were only a handful of us that got sick. The second stop to snorkle to see turtles I did not get out. If going in the water was not going to give me relief, there was no point (in my opinion). I don't know if anyone saw turtles there, but I saw them from the shore in that exact area the previous two days in a row. In summary, this is a great trip but if you are prone to sea sickness, you may want to skip anything like this. (I was sick for 4 hours) Special shout out to Takako who was especially attentive to me when I was feeling poorly.
