Street food in Tijuana means, fat, salsa a quick service but mainly a bunch of flavor. Imagine being a student and in your way from the school to your work you don’t have time but a food truck can save you a give you the meal you need to keep going. In the Mexican street food you can find snacks like fresh fruit with lime and pepper who will refresh you in a hot summer day, boiled corn with a little of butter, lime and also salsa you can keep chatting with your friends and exploring the streets. The taco it’s the king of the streets, and there's many presentations from the simple beans taco to the taco al pastor (asada pork with spices), put a lot of wacamole and lime and the right salsa to take it to another level. At the end we should look for a good tap room to try craft beer. If you are more like to taste something sweet maybe a margarita in a authentic mexican cantina will be the option. During the tour and tasting the street food you will build your own opinion about mexico, come with us to cross the border.

As it worked out, I was the only tour customer for my excursion so I literally was able to enjoy a one-on-one p re I ate tour. Humberto, my guide, was friendly and sincerely. He is very knowledgeable about the city of Tijuana and as we made our way around town, I was able to get a feel of the diversity and uniqueness of each section of the city. In addition, Humberto happens to be a PHd candidate so not only were we able to enjoy a day of great food, we also had the privilege of engaging in some thought provoking discussions about Nietzsche and other philosophers. In all, highly recommend.

This was such an amazing experience, our guide Tadeo, was perfect! Tadeo was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of Tijuana. His choice of local eateries hit the spot perfectly. If I ever decide to take this tour again, I will 100% request Tadeo as my guide.

If you are looking for a fun filled day in Tijuana seeing where the locals go—look no further this is the tour for you! Tadeo was incredible- he asked our group what we wanted out of tour and he tailored it to make sure we had the experience we wanted! The food, the history, the tequila and shopping were such an awesome way to see Tijuana! This was a 10/10. Highly recommend!
