Taking the coach bus to Key West is the way to go. The driver - the only positive thing I can say is he got us there and he got us back. First, his accent was so strong and he talked so fast that you can’t understand what he is saying. Second, he was texting the whole way there and back - not safe! We could see it in the mirror. Third, and most importantly - he showed ZERO consideration. When we arrived in Key West it had started raining cats and dogs. The water was up to the doors of cars. He made us get off the bus in the pouring down rain and everybody got soaked!!! He said he couldn’t stay parked???? There was only one other bus there? When I went to the trolley stand to get our ponchos, a guide on another bus was on the phone with his bus driver (blue bus) saying “Do not let them off the bus. It’s pouring. Have them wait”. Would have been so nice if we had gotten the same courtesy instead of walking around soaked for a few hours. Didn’t bother the blue bus to stay parked for 30 minutes!!! Sadly, I noticed getting off the bus back in Miami that not a single person tipped the driver. Gee, wonder why?
