Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall.

You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

This was really fun! Splashing other boats with water and interaction between the boats was a hoot. The boat crews were a lot of fun as well, and really engaged with us. They were informative, fun and this was an excellent adventure for the 3 of us that had never been rafting before! The temperature was over 110, but the cool water made it fabulous!

We booked the 4 hour afternoon kayaking and we wished that we had done the 1/2 day or full day kayaking by the end of it. We had so much fun. It ended up being our favorite part of our trip to Moab. Great, fun activity to do outside in the hot Moab summer season.
