Leanne (not sure about the spelling, sorry!) was our tour guide. They were clearly passionate about the stories and held deep respect for the victims. I appreciated that a lot!
They seemed like a potentially new tour guide, though. Lots of "ums" and "uhs" and points where they lost the thread of the story and had to pause to remember it. It's easy to critique when you're not a tour guide yourself, so I'm sure I would be that way as well! But we did a different walking tour with another company the previous night, and that guide was spectacular and engaging.
Most importantly, though, I booked this tour thinking that it wouldn't talk about witch-related stories. There was only one story not related to the witch trials, which means this tour was essentially a repeat of the tour we took the previous night, but at a lower caliber. To be fair, this murder and mysteries tour would have been more interesting if we hadn't heard all of the stories before. But alas. No mysteries for us.
