This is a really interesting, educational outdoor "museum" where you can take 3 hours (or more) to see everything, if you have the time. It is spread out over 19 acres by the water. It was a pleasure to walk leisurely through each "exhibit" boat, shed, house etc. Exhibits are labeled well. The Stillman Building on whaling is packed with historical content which could take an hour to see if you really get into it. We visited after it rained so the ground was muddy with big puddles, so be prepared.
