This was my first time planning a wine tour and participating in one! I planned a Girls Day Out for my girls and myself and with the professionalism and patience of Lisa the owner, we all had an amazing time and can wait to do another one. Lisa recommended we book a tour for Sunday as it is the usually the least crowded and do a private wine tour package. Due to COVID, we happily accepted her recommendations. Prior to our booking and after, I had plenty of questions and Lisa responded quickly and patiently to every inquiry I had. We started our day with our private driver Michael, who was amazingly patient, professional, accommodating, engaging and just all out the best! Our first stop was Grapes and Ladders Vineyard! It is such as nice, quaint winery and we enjoyed every minute of our tour. Our host were great, wine was amazing, and prices were good for purchasing. We met Ashley, who also helps with the tours for Cana and she was truly amazing. She offered to take pictures for us while Michael went to pick up our lunch and she made sure we had everything in order before snapping the picture. Our second stop was Ott Farms and Vineyard. This was a bigger winery, that also had a indoor and outdoor area. We stayed outside to take in the scenery and music. We had our lunch at this winery, which was surprisingly delicious. We were fortunate enough to sit by a fire pit and since it was a little chilly we asked the owner to light the fire pit for us and he happily did so. We had a wonderful time here eating, taking in the music and scenery, however the wine here was just o.k. Our last stop was Cartecay Vineyards. This was by far the best winery out of all 3. Mrs. Terra our host at this winery was amazing, cheerful, engaging and accommodating. It was six of us and we wanted to sit outside, so she made sure to get us a table near the fireplace!. Here we sat outside, listening to music and chatting. One of the ladies had a birthday that week that we were celebrating, as a surprise, I asked the musicians to sing Happy Birthday to her and they did. It was awesome! Michael advised they have a wine slushie here that we should try! The slusie was not outside, so we kind of forgot, but Terra reminded us and recommended that we try the wine slushies inside the winery, we did and it was amazingly delicious! It was so good that each of purchased the wine and sangria to make the slushes at home! Thank you Michael and Terra! Upon returning, Michael got us safely back to our pickup location and again was very professional and engaging with us. During our trip, we were offered cold water and if we needed to make a stop, we could have. Thank you Michael! Overall, Cana Wine Tour did a fantastic job with our wine. We were able to try many different wines, some good and some not so good, but we still enjoyed every bit of the tour! With COVID, the wineries practiced social distancing, had sanitizer available and majority of the wine pourers did wear mask. But where they did not have mask, we had our own. As a travel agent looking for recommendations for my clients who would like to stay close to home, Cana exceeded my expectations and it highly recommended. I will definitely use them in the future for myself and my clients. Thank you Lisa, Michael and Ashley for such an amazing getaway time for me and my girls and I looking forward to booking our next wine tour with you all in the future!
