Great trip Captain Miguel and crew Kannon did everything to make the trip informative and fun. It is the only way to see the Na Pali Coast up close. I would strong recommend this trip

Knowing in advance that this was a rough boat ride, I was prepared, but still it was really rough. We had at least 3 people get seasick or more. Beautiful sights though that could not have been seen otherwise. There were beautiful beaches, mountains, cliffs, openings in the mountains that larger boats couldn’t have gone into. Snorkeling wasn’t worth the rough waters we were brought to snorkel in. I was grateful that I was able to go snorkel the next day in calmer waters at no cost at one of the beaches.

Be prepared for a rough ride but you should not necessarily expect one. Most days on the coast are remarkably innocent. Flat leeward waters protected by looming 4000 ft cliffs are quite common. If it were always rough this would be a much less rewarding endeavor. That said, YES be prepared to get outside your comfort zone. The ocean is unpredictable even with all the modern blahhh blahh. Tides winds swells refraction combine in the most peculiar ways and that is what makes the adventure. You just can’t tell what your gonna get (something about a box of chocolates). True also with our snorkel stops. This is a sightseeing adventure with a swim and snorkel break. We stop at a location along the way. We have a few spots. Some days they are amazing and you can hear the dolphins if you listen. Turtles may swim through or just hang out. An octopus or a small ray may show itself. Other days a man of war might offer a sting and there may be some surf, turbidity or a strong current. On the hard days we just cant snorkel stop at all. Just like when you go to the beach. One beach there is waves and and you drive to another place looking for opportunities. It’s important everyone understands that, just like life, we do the best with what is offered for the day. Thank you for addressing this aspect of the trip as it is an important one. As for the cliffs and the caves, mountains and beaches… yeah that’s our jam. If anyone is seeking a snorkel trip with some sightseeing then our Niihau adventure across the channel may be more to your expectations. Another island awaits 17 miles north with crystal clear waters and exceptional opportunities to see marine life with depths from 20-300 ft. Niihau and Lehua are islands visible from Kauai that take us about an hour to get to. We offer this trip on Saturday. Like all our tours there is an element of the unknown factors but these islands most often are very rewarding visually and the diving is quite exceptional.

Wow, what a great experience! Amazing crew, excellent knowledge of the history on the Napali Coast. Safety was stressed throughout. Definitely recommend this trip. A good mixture of sight seeing, adventure and fun. Worth every penny!
