Come join the “original” cable car wine tasting tour through beautiful Napa Valley. Hop aboard one of our hand-built replicas of a San Francisco Cable Car! Every detail, from the all-wooden carriage to the solid brass bell, is an authentic feature right off the original blueprints. This Napa Valley wine trolley tour will be an experience you will never forget. Enjoy endless unobstructed views of vineyard-dotted hills on this special wine-tasting adventure. Visit three or four wineries or tasting lounges and learn all about Napa’s history and wine from your friendly and knowledgeable guide. Lunch is included and will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. Winery stops and lunch stop can change periodically.

This tour picks up at the Oxbow Market 610 1st St, Napa, CA 94559. Meet on the street in front.

You’ll be picked up at Napa’s Oxbow Market in the late morning for a 6-hour tour on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley, an open-air vehicle modeled after a historic 1890s San Francisco cable car. Enjoy the wind in your air as you take in the beautiful sights and smells of Napa wine country. Your friendly, knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with commentary and stories about Napa’s history and wine culture.

Were we officially notified that the trolley's price did not include wine? Yes, we were. Was the driver friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating? Yes, he was. Were we informed that we would be paying, on average, $50 per person for four small "splashes" of wine at each of the wineries we visited, with little opportunity to decline the tasting and just buy a glass just to enjoy? No, no, we were not. Friendly advice: Avoid the sticker shock of a wine-tasting experience and ask a few more questions before dropping over well over $500 for two people to have barely enough wine to even feel it. Not to be completely negative, the lunch experience was great! Family-style Italian was a nice time.

We do apologize that you were disappointed by the winery experiences, as to give the Napa Valley Wine Trolley a low rating due to the cost of tasting fees. As stated, the fees are an addition, and often less expensive than if you were not apart of the tour, since our partners offer discounted experiences specifically for our guests. We're glad that you had a good experience with the driver and enjoyed lunch. Cheers.

Great experience!!! The driver/tour guide was engaging, knowledgeable and kept the fun energy going. The people on the tour were pleasant and excited for the experience which made it increasingly more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Paul our host was informative and jovial. Winery visits were good apart from the Mario Andretti winery where the host did not know much about wine and lacked charm and charisma. Lunch was good and everything else was perfect
