It is a total disappoinbtment, definitely a tourist trap. This in nothing more than a static display of a distillery. On the birth side, the tour guide was terrific and knowledgeable. However, after explaining the process, they offered us six tastes of one ounce of different liquors with neither whiskey nor bourbon. What is the point? We were there to sample Tennessee whiskey, and it was a no-go. After a short tasting, I was offered to buy their brand of whiskey without even tying it. Total disappointment!!!

Hi Juan, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time at Big Machine Distillery. We work very hard to offer an excellent customer experience and what you have described in your review does not sound like us at all. We are an operating distillery, we run our downtown still twice a week (maybe you came on a day we were not running the still), We pour 8 different 1/3 oz samples of our spirits and include our Clayton James Tennessee Whiskey on every flight. For people that want to try our Bourbons, we offer an upgraded version of our flight that is not sold through Viator (However it is advertised in the upstairs bar where tours meet). I asked the Tour Guide who served you if she remembered you. She told me not only did you try the Bourbon and the Tennessee Whiskey. You purchased 3 bottles of Bourbon. Are you sure you meant to write this about us, and not another distillery you visited?

We had a great time. The bar itself was nice with live music so immediately we felt positive. Cody the tour guide was very informative and personable. He made us feel at ease and we had a laugh with him. It included 8 different spirits to taste so we thought it was great value for money. We sat in the bar after with the live music and a drink which was lovely too.
