It was just a big, loud and somehow fun drive through Broadway. There were 6 in our group, and three are extreme introverts, so I wasn’t sure how they would take this experience. The people on our wagon were fun with a very broad mix of people onboard. One bride to be, one birthday girl and one cancer survivor. The music is deafening, so be prepared for that. The drink selection is really limited. I saw White Claw and Bud Light kind of stuff. Our bus was packed, so no room to dance. We stood on the benches and spent more time trying to get the people on the sidewalk and cars passing by engaged with us. Most did, which surprised me. Downtown is a big party most nights, so the atmosphere helps people cut loose I think.
The forecast called for rain, so I booked the tractor with a “roof”. It did have a roof, however it leaked like a sieve when the rain came. Apparently no one patched the holes they drilled for hand holds and speaker mounts. Many onboard got soaked during the 5 minute downpour. Do this with friends if possible. Probably not a good first date or “couples” thing.
All in all it was fun but I probably won’t do it again.
