Meet at Glacier Guides & Montana Raft at 9:30am to meet your guide and go over a brief orientation. Once in Glacier, you'll get to explore Glacier's natural wonders on a guided adventure! Start with a 1-mile round trip walk through Lake McDonald Valley, admiring its glaciated beauty and resident wildlife. Then, venture to the North Fork Valley with scenic stops en route. Take another 1-mile round trip walk along the Wild and Scenic North Fork of the Flathead River, learning about the environment and its history.

This engaging nature walk is easy, offering captivating insights. After the walk, return to the Glacier Guides and Montana Raft office in the early afternoon, benefiting from your knowledgeable guide's expertise. Typically, the tour concludes around 1:30 PM.

Shannon's knowledge of the area and it's history is impressive. He made the trip relaxing and fun. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to hike with ease while learning. 😊

Ryan was an excellent guide. He took us to an off the beaten path trail that was amazing. We hike d through amazing flora. The views were amazing. He had tons of cool information and history about the area. Family trip with the four of us. Us the parents, a 25 year old daughter and a 16 year old daughter. We are from NC. Mother and younger daughter not as experienced as father and oldest daughter. He was attentive to all of us. Pointing out juniper berrries, thimble berries which we all ate our fair share of. Don’t worry we left tons for the bears. Just a great hike. Ask for Ryan!

We did a custom private hike with Haley this past week and had a wonderful experience! Our group consisted of my wife and I (mid-fifties), our 25 year old daughter, and my 80 year old mother who is very active. Haley took us to Two Medicine and we hiked Paradise Point and Aster Falls for a total of 4 miles. Both hikes were wonderful, mostly flat, and had great destinations. Haley is a great & knowledgeable guide! She taught us many facts about Glacier including the history and geology of the area and lots about the plants and wildlife. When we return to Glacier we would definitely do another custom hike and would love to have Haley as our guide!
