We did not want to go camping but still wanted to be close to nature and have done glamping at other places before that were great. Unfortunately our experience at Adventures on the Gorge was so disappointing, such that we could not wait to leave. While the glamping tent was spacious, we found rodent droppings on the kitchen counter (actually can't really call it a kitchen counter since there was hardly any counter space). Given how much they charged a night, we expected reasonable amenities, but they did not even provide a sponge to wash dishes! And if you wanted to use the cooking plate, there was no space to use, but maybe they don't really want you to use it because there were no pot(s)/pan(s) provided. Good coffee or something for breakfast? Good luck, even the coffee from their onsite café was too watery at best and even at 8:30AM they had barely anything to sell at the café. Lastly, we did not feel welcomed when we checked in - the person who checked us in seemed to be annoyed to do it and was not the least helpful when we asked questions about the facilities. The only positive experience was the zipline tour. Needless to say, we are not coming back nor would we recommend it to our friends and family.
