The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.
Empire State Building visits must pre-book a time and date through the Big Bus Booking Management link (provided on your voucher), or with our staff at Stop #1

Organisation was terrible nobody to explain where and when to get off the bus or which bus was needed we didn't get to any of our intended stops due to poor organisation and the lack of communication, the so called commentary about where and when attractions are was none existent, altogether very poor show and would not recommend to anybody it ends up being an expensive bus ride....

We encourage our customers to download our app as this includes a live bus tracker as well as a map of our bus stops which show pictures of exactly where our bus stops are located. This is also available on our website under the "Routes & Maps" section. As for our pre-recorded commentary, we assure you each bus is equipped with this and our commentary is available in 5 languages. We provide complimentary earbuds to all passengers so they can tune into the audio. We apologize for your negative experience and will look for ways to better communicate this to ensure our customers are well informed prior to their trip.

Traffic was terrible, we had a package deal to do the Empire State Building tour and the statue of Liberty cruise and didn't know there was a time for the boat tour until they printed out tickets on the on and off bus tour. We couldn't get there in time due to traffic. They also shorted us one ticket for the empire state building tour. I asked 3 agents and they all said they couldn't help me. We didn't finish the bus tour and got a last minute great liberty cruise tour through Skyline Tourism. Def go with them for the Statue of Liberty.

Hi Sheila! We monitor traffic trends and check for road closures daily to manage a 15-minute frequency on our Downtown tour and 30-minute frequency on our Uptown tour. If needed, we may add extra departures to our routes to accommodate our guests and maintain frequency. We also offer upgrades if guests need more time to tour with us and want to extend their ticket validity. We hope you'll consider giving it another shot, either in a new city or in New York.
