I can't express enough how wonderful our experience was from the first communication via phone/ text to the actual sail. Our party almost didn't make it to the sail but right at the dock Tom (the owner) happened to be there and very courteously worked things out for us. We ended up on the Sunset Sail which was beyond fantastic, it was excellent! The wonderful crew was very engaging and friendly. We had 2 kids in our group and they were able to have fun along with other guests to set up the sail. There was a full bar onboard and a Saxophonist playing really nice songs to set the most perfect ambiance to the sail. I definitely recommend Manhattan by Sail.

Chose Clipper City over other options after deciding whether or not to do a dinner cruise and deciding between ship options. We could not be more pleased with having chosen Clipper City. I'm sure other options can be very good too, but we enjoyed the open air ambiance compared to some of the alternatives. The change in scenery from daylight to post-sunset with the city lighting up was really nice too. It was a great way to wrap up our vacation! I want to emphasize the aspect about the experience that I feel made it exceptional - the lady who was singing classy tunes along with the two musicians created an atmosphere that took it from "nice experience" to "exceptional experience". She was an exceptional singer!

We booked this cruise on a whim while visiting NYC. As we watched the overfilled, crowded party boats take off from the pier, we were a little worried, but Clipper City did not fail to impress! From the helpful, funny, and polite crew, to the incredible calm views, this was a bit of serenity in the hustle and bustle of NYC. The boat had plenty of people on board, but it wasn’t packed to the gills. You could easily maneuver to catch the sunset and capture stunning photos of Manhattan, NJ, and Lady Liberty with the beautiful backdrop of the setting sun! It was a trip I HIGHLY recommend booking! Oh, and the onboard bar was well-stocked too!
